Lacha paratha or lachedar paratha is a popular paratha variety from north India, made from whole wheat flour.Its also called as Paratwala paratha. in Punjabi “parat” means layer and layers can be seen on the paratha when it gets cooked.
Lacha paratha is a unique flatbread which can be made with both wheat flour and all-purpose flour. It is traditionally fried with ghee and becomes crispy and flaky, and the layers can be visible from outside.
